Tested on Command and Conquer v1.18 (English version) Level replacement ----------------- This file is meant to replace the last NOD mission. It may work when used with other missions, but has been tested specifically for this mission. If you use level 1 you don't get to build things ! Mission Description ------------------- One of our Engineers has defected to GDI or is selling his services to them. GDI are therefore able to build some of our weapons etc. Your task is to kill this Engineer before he gives away to mant secrets. Our intelligence reports that he is holed up in a village in the heart of GDI area. GDI are well setup here so you will have a difficult task we will send any help we can but don't expect to much as we are starting a major offensive. Good Luck its tough but you must kill him! Level Description ----------------- This level is Tricky!. There should be no need to cheat as this level can be completed without changing any values like credits etc. Be prepared for a battle. You will need to use ALL your resouces. Usage ----- For those who don't want to bother messing around editing files, a savegame has been supplied that was taken the instant the level started. Simply copy this file (sstrike.sav) into your Command and Conquer directory (rename it to savegame.xxx where xxx is a number between 001 and 999). Then simply load that file when you start. You will not be able to restart the mission if you do this, you will have to re-load it if you need to try again. If you choose this method, you can ignore the next part. If you want something more complete, you need to have the NOD version of the general.mix file on your hard drive. You also need the program map-p.exe or mixman.exe. Put the file sstrike.ini into your Command and Conquer directory Now you need to patch the general.mix file with the sstrike.map and sstrike.ini. Other Information ----------------- Please be kind, this is my first attempt. I don't think that all the triggers work properly yet and I had to simplify the setup as when the ini file got over 18,000 I lost walls etc. Lee Dove (The Troll Man)
